FinnishCAP Driving School Sotkamo serves you in CAPseli – a mobile service point that brings the driving school to wherever you are. Starting points for driving lessons can be arranged flexibly, and our friendly instructors support you throughout your entire driving school journey. There is no need to feel nervous about starting; teaching can always be tailored to your needs and skill level. Customer satisfaction is our top priority!
We offer driving lessons and driving school courses for the following licence categories: passenger car licence (B), motorcycle licences (A1, A2, A), moped licence (AM120) and moped car licence (AM121). We also provide various course options for instruction permit students, such as EAS and RTK. You can choose to take your driving lessons with either a manual or an automatic transmission car. In addition, we offer truck-driving courses for categories C1, C1E, C and CE.
CAPseli is located at the Sotkamo market square, Torikatu 1. Driving lessons start either from CAPseli or from an agreed pick-up point. Moped, moped car and motorcycle instruction is provided at CAP Driving School Kajaani.

At CAP Driving School Sotkamo, our professional and friendly instructors support you all the way from the beginning of your driving studies to the driving test. Instruction is available in Finnish. We are happy to help with any questions that arise during your driving school journey. Don’t hesitate to ask if something feels unclear! There is no need to feel nervous about starting – we focus on personal guidance, and teaching can always be tailored to your needs and skill level.
CAPseli, like all CAP locations, is under continuous monitoring, and customers can contact the simulator control centre at the push of a button. Office services are available by phone, so you can easily get help and advice whenever you need it.
You can begin the driving course immediately after registration. Theory studies can be completed flexibly online whenever it suits you best. We use the CAP app, a digital learning environment and modern teaching tools that allow driving to be learned safely and in a versatile way. Driving lessons are conducted with modern and well-equipped training vehicles.
Moped, moped car and motorcycle instruction is provided at CAP Driving School Kajaani. Moped and motorcycle driving lessons begin at the Kesäniemi parking area, where riding gear is put on and handling exercises start. The training area is safe and suitable for practising vehicle control before entering traffic. The driving school will always inform you in advance where your lessons begin.
The location offers a wide range of instruction permit courses, including mandatory trainings such as EAS and RTK. We also offer several training packages, such as a practice driving test package, starter package, joint teaching package and an intensive training course.
CAP Driving School offers versatile payment options. You can pay the course invoice in 1–4 instalments, pay online or use SVEA financing. This allows you to choose the payment method that suits you best – easily and flexibly.
