According to the current law, the teaching permit instructor is no longer required to take a theory test, and the teaching car does not need to be re-inspected after installing pedals. The teaching permit holder must attend a driving school before starting their own driving practice safety training (EAS), if the student does not already have a valid driving license. The training applies to all driving license categories obtained with a teaching permit.

When the training is completed and paid for, you will find the certificate in your learning environment. You can print/save it from your own homepage as a pdf file. Alternatively, you can also pick up the certificate from the service point. The EAS certificate must always be kept in the car during your own driving instruction. The same certificate is also required for the theory test.

If you have a valid driving license, what remains to be completed for those driving a passenger car license is the risk recognition training. This training must be completed at a driving school, with a driving school’s car and with an instructor. The training is most beneficial to complete shortly before the theory and driving test, when sufficient driving experience has been gained (approx. 10-20 hours).

This training must be fully completed before the driving test, and a certificate of completed training must be present at the driving test. You can obtain the certificate by printing it from your own learning environment once all parts of the course are completed and the course fee is paid.
