The Driving Licence Act was amended on 29 May 2026. If your driving test is on or after 1 October 2026, you will need to complete a supplementary training package before taking the driving test.
The supplementary package brings your previously completed training in line with the requirements of the new legislation. It includes only the theory and driving lessons you still need to meet the new requirements.

Courses for the legally required risk recognition supplementary training
The supplementary package that is right for you depends on which RTK training course you are currently completing.
Choose Supplementary package for the simulator course if your current RTK training includes 3 simulator driving lessons and 1 driving lesson in a car.
Choose Supplementary package if your current RTK training includes 2 simulator driving lessons and 2 driving lessons in a car.
If you are unsure which supplementary package is suitable for you, contact your driving school or ask your driving instructor during a driving lesson.

This course is intended for you if your current RTK training includes 2 simulator lessons and 2 driving lessons. The course consists of 3 theory lessons and 1 driving lesson in the driving school’s car, so that your training meets the requirements of the new law coming into effect on October 1st, 2026. Please note that the teaching required by the new law can be provided from October 1, 2026.

The course consists of 3 theory lessons and 1,5 driving lesson in the driving school’s car, so that your training meets the requirements of the new law coming into effect on October 1st, 2026. Your choice depends on which risk recognition training package you are currently completing.
If your package includes two simulator driving lessons and two driving lessons in a car, your supplementary package is Supplementary package
If your package includes 3 simulator driving lessons and one driving lesson in a car, your supplementary package is Supplementary package for simulator course
Attending the theory lessons is easy online! We recommend completing the RTK theory lessons before your driving lessons. This way, you’ll get the most out of your driving lessons.
Our driving schools will contact you to schedule your driving lessons. Depending on the package, the training includes either 1 or 1.5 driving lessons with an instructor in a real car.
