CAP Driving School Hamina offers a modern and flexible way to learn to drive in the heart of the historic circular town. We offer driving lessons and courses for the following licence categories: passenger car (B), motorcycle (A1, A2, A), and moped (AM120). We also provide various courses for teaching permit holders, such as EAS and RTK training. Driving lessons are held with modern, well-equipped training cars, and you can choose between manual or automatic transmission.

Our office is conveniently located on the ground floor at Maariankatu 14, right in the city centre, close to all local services. Driving lessons start either from the Hamina office or from a pickup point that suits you – for example, Hamina Upper Secondary School, the bus station, or Ekami Hamina Campus.

CAP Driving School Hamina began operations in 2013, but a driving school has been operating in the same location since 1988. Our skilled and friendly instructors in Hamina guide you throughout the process – from theory lessons to the driving test. Hamina’s diverse traffic environment offers excellent opportunities to learn to drive smoothly, both in city traffic and on open roads. Instruction is available in Finnish and English.

You can start your driving course immediately after registration. Theory lessons can be completed flexibly online whenever it suits you best. Simulator training, digital learning environments, and the CAP App are all part of our modern teaching approach, helping you learn safely, efficiently, and comprehensively.

Moped training takes place in Hamina, but the test is conducted in Keltakallio, Kotka. Motorcycle training is arranged in Kotka, since both the practice and the driving tests are held there. Training is centralized in Kotka to ensure that practice happens in the same environment as the official examination. (Ajovarma Hamina does not offer motorcycle or moped exams.)

At our Hamina office, we offer a wide range of courses for teaching permit holders, including mandatory EAS and RTK training. We also provide several course packages to support those completing their licence under a teaching permit – such as the Practice Test Package, Starter Package, Co-Teaching Package, and Intensive Course.
