We offer driving instruction and driving school courses for the following licence categories: passenger car licence (B) and moped licence (AM120). We also provide services for those learning with a teaching permit, such as EAS and RTK training. You can drive either a manual or an automatic car. Automatic lessons start from the Jyväskylä city centre location.

"As a driving instructor in Jämsä, I feel at home. Driving and motor vehicles have been a part of my life since childhood, when our family took holiday trips to Europe by car. Initially, I did not think of a career in traffic education, but my driving instructor, whom I met when I was young, planted the seed that is sprouting in full glory today. He asked me almost immediately if I had ever considered becoming a driving instructor. Now I realize that that question led my life on a course that I can appreciate every day. After studying and living abroad, I finally found my way to this and today I help my students find their way into the world of driving skills. The changing days, the different people and those moments when all the pieces fall into place make my job unique. Sometimes it feels like there is a touch of magic in the work – when everything clicks for a student and driving starts to go smoothly as if by itself. I feel that as an instructor, I have the opportunity to help people learn and succeed. I am understanding and calm by nature, which helps to create a relaxed and safe learning environment. And of course, the moments after a passed driving test are always the star moments of the job – both for me and my students.

You can start the driving school course immediately after registering. You can complete the theory studies flexibly online whenever it suits you best. We use the CAP app, a digital learning environment, and modern teaching tools that help you learn to drive safely and in a versatile way. Driving lessons are conducted with modern and well-equipped training cars. Instruction is available in Finnish and English.
Moped lessons start at the driving school, where riding gear is put on. After this, you will move with the instructor to Kaipola at Olkkolantie 63, Jämsä (the former paper mill parking area), which serves as both the practice and test location. In Kaipola, you will practice moped handling in a calm and safe environment, and the handling tests are completed at the same site.
The service point offers a wide range of teaching-permit courses that include the mandatory training sessions, such as EAS and RTK. We also offer several training packages, such as the practice driving test package, start package, co-teaching package and intensive course.
CAP Driving School offers a variety of payment options. You can pay the course invoice in 1–4 instalments, pay online, or use SVEA financing. This allows you to choose the payment method that suits you best, easily and flexibly.
