We offer driving lessons for the following licence categories: passenger car (B), all motorcycle licences (A1, A2, A), moped licence (AM120), and light quadricycle licence (AM121). In cooperation with CAP Pro Academy, we also offer driving lessons for categories C1, C1E, and C in Lahti. Additionally, we provide services for teaching permit holders, such as EAS and RTK training. You can choose whether to take your lessons with a manual or automatic car.

CAP Driving School Lahti is CAP’s largest location and has been operating since 2014. The school is equipped with two modern driving simulators, which support safe and versatile learning. Thanks to the two simulators, driving lesson availability is excellent, and Lahti also has a separate facility dedicated to simulator training. Our professional and friendly instructors in Lahti support you throughout your entire learning journey. There’s no need to feel nervous about starting driving school – we’ll help you every step of the way so you can progress safely and confidently towards your driver’s licence. Instruction is available in Finnish and English.
You can start your driving course immediately after registration. Theory lessons can be completed flexibly online whenever it suits you best. We use modern teaching tools such as a driving simulator, the CAP App, and a digital learning environment, all designed to help you learn to drive safely and comprehensively. Driving lessons are carried out with modern, well-equipped training vehicles – safety and driving comfort are always our top priorities.
Moped and motorcycle handling training takes place at the Karisto driving practice track, which offers a safe environment to develop your riding skills before moving into real traffic. Moped and motorcycle handling tests are also conducted at Karisto, while motorcycle traffic tests start from Ajovarma Lahti.
Lahti’s traffic environment provides a diverse and suitably challenging place to practice driving. The city centre includes one-way streets and multi-lane roundabouts, and the hilly terrain offers excellent opportunities to practice hill starts in various conditions. The nearby motorway allows training at higher speeds and in busier traffic. In Lahti, you’ll learn to drive safely and confidently in all kinds of conditions.
At our Lahti office, we offer a wide selection of courses for teaching permit holders, including mandatory EAS and RTK training. We also provide several tailored course packages for permit-based learners – such as the Practice Test Package, Starter Package, Co-Teaching Package, and Intensive Course.
