We offer driving lessons and driving school courses for the following licence categories: passenger car (B), all motorcycle categories (A1, A2, A), moped (AM120) and light quadricycle (AM121). We also provide services for students with a teaching permit, such as EAS and RTK. You can take your driving lessons with either a manual or an automatic transmission car.
Our office is centrally located at Sammonkatu 28. It is easy to reach by public transport or on foot from Tampere city centre. Driving lessons start from the driving school or from a starting point of your choice, such as Tampere Swimming Centre or Kaleva Upper Secondary School.

CAP Driving School Tampere Sampo started operating in 2014. Our skilled and friendly instructors in Tampere support you throughout the entire driving school process, from theory lessons to the driving test. Instruction is available in Finnish and English. There is no need to be nervous – you will receive support throughout your learning journey, and together we progress towards your driving licence.
You can start your driving course immediately after registration. You complete your theory lessons flexibly online whenever it suits you best. We use modern teaching tools such as a driving simulator, the CAP app and a digital learning environment, which enable safe and versatile learning. Driving lessons are carried out with modern, well-equipped training cars – safety and comfort always come first.
Moped and motorcycle handling training begins at the Tampere Sampo CAP Driving School office. You will practise vehicle control in a safe and calm environment. Handling and driving tests are carried out at Ajovarma Hervanta.
In Tampere, we offer a wide range of courses for students with a teaching permit, including the mandatory EAS and RTK training. We also provide several support packages for teaching-permit learners, such as a practice driving test package, starter package, co-teaching package and intensive course.
CAP Driving School offers flexible payment options. You can pay the course fee by invoice in 1–4 instalments, make an online payment or use SVEA financing. This way, you can choose the payment method that suits you best.
