Can driving lessons be booked before passing the theory test?

In the passenger car course (B), you can book a driving lesson before passing the theory test, but of course, it’s good to attend the theory lesson at an early stage.

The theory test can be taken one month before your 18th birthday. If you have been granted an age exemption permit, you must be 17 years old before taking the theory test.

Moped and Motorcycle

In moped and motorcycle courses, driving lessons generally start after successfully passing the theory test. In the moped course, the age requirement (15 years) must also be met before driving instruction can be given.

In the motorcycle course, the 16-year age requirement does not apply to starting driving lessons, and you can start driving before reaching that age. You can only take the handling and driving test once you have turned 16.

You can also participate in the moped and motorcycle theory test one month before reaching the required age.
