Can risk identification training be done with teaching permits?

Education cannot be given with a teaching permit, but it must always be completed at a driving school or provided by another trainer approved by Trafi.

Risk training includes 4 hours of theory instruction and 4 hours of driving instruction, which can also be partially given with a simulator. The training includes night driving and slippery road driving.

Risk training is recommended to be completed at a stage when driving experience has already been gained in traffic and car handling skills and traffic operation are well mastered. We recommend registering for the training before the theory test, but it is not required by law. As long as the training is fully completed when going to the driving test.
