Frequently asked questions

What is driving ban training and how is it conducted?

A new driver is subject to stricter monitoring than other drivers for two years from the time they obtain their first driving license for a car or motorcycle. During this period, the driver can be banned from driving if they commit one or more traffic offenses or violations. To prevent risky behavior, the return of the driver’s license after a driving ban requires 4 hours of additional training.

Driving Ban Training addresses risky behavior and its impact on traffic safety. The training consists of theoretical instruction, including individual tasks and group discussions. The training comprises 4 hours of theoretical instruction via remote connection.

The driving ban training sessions are conducted using the Zoom application. It is advisable to download the application well in advance from your app store, preferably the day before the sessions begin. Alternatively, you can also join via a browser. Completing the sessions requires the use of a microphone and webcam, so please check their functionality before joining the sessions. We recommend using a headset.

The training can be completed during the driving ban or after it has ended.

The police will restore the driving rights once the training is completed, a certificate of it is provided to the police, and the driving ban has ended.

All four theory sessions are held in one day. The certificate of training can be obtained from the service point during its opening hours once the sessions are completed and the payment is made.
