We offer driving lessons and courses for the following licence categories: passenger car (B), all motorcycle licences (A1, A2, A), and moped licence (AM120). We also provide services for teaching permit holders, such as EAS and RTK training. You can choose to take your lessons with either a manual or an automatic car.
Our office is located at Kauppakuja 1, right next to Palokka Square and the school centre. Driving lessons with a manual car start from the Palokka office, while automatic car lessons start from our city centre office at Väinönkatu 42.

"Työskentelen ajo-opettajana Jyväskylän keskustassa ja Palokassa. Aikoinaan, kun itse istuin autokoulun penkillä, syttyi kipinä tähän ammattiin. Vaikka elämä veikin minut välillä muihin seikkailuihin, kuten taksin rattiin, liikenneopettajan unelma kyti mielessäni. Vihdoin 25 vuotta ajokortin saamisesta, palasin tielle liikenneopettajana.
Kaikista parasta työssäni on nähdä se hetki, kun oppilas oivaltaa jotain tai ylittää itsensä vaikkapa haasteelliseksi kokemassaan ajotilanteessa. Välillä on vaikea eritellä, mikä on parasta - vaihtelevuus, vuorovaikutus vai onnistumisen ilot. Olen rento ja huumorintajuinen, mutta tarkka, ja oppilaani sanovat, että minun autossani vallitsee turvallinen ilmapiiri. Ajotunneilla tunteiden kirjo saa näkyä ja kuulua.
Olen puhelias ja sosiaalinen, elän ja hengitän muiden ihmisten kohtaamisista. Usein minua kutsutaan "ihmisihmiseksi", ja se kuvaus sopii hyvin. Tervetuloa mukaan matkalle, jossa sekä opitaan että nauretaan, unohtamatta turvallisen ajon taitoja.

"Ajo-opettajana autan sinua löytämään varmuuden ratin takana. Opetan ajamaan mopoilla, moottoripyörillä ja henkilöautoilla ja uravalinta kumpuaa omasta elämäntarinastani. Kun äitini mainitsi liikenneopettajan ammatista, koin, että tämä voisi olla minun keinoni vaikuttaa positiivisesti ihmisten elämään. Ajo-opettajana huomaan löytäneeni työelämässä todellisen kutsumusammatin.
Työssäni nautin eniten siitä, että saan tavata monenlaisia ihmisiä ja olla mukana heidän ainutlaatuisessa oppimisprosessissaan. Mikään ei ole palkitsevampaa kuin nähdä oppilaan oivaltavan, miten ajaminen voi olla sekä turvallista että nautinnollista. Koen olevani kannustava, rauhallinen ja rento opettaja. Instruction is available in Finnish and English. We offer a wide range of driving courses, backed by years of experience. There’s no need to feel nervous about starting driving school – we focus on personal instruction, and lessons can always be tailored to your needs and skill level. You can complete your theory studies flexibly online whenever it suits you best. We use modern teaching tools such as a driving simulator, the CAP App, and a digital learning environment to ensure safe and versatile learning. Driving lessons are conducted with modern, well-equipped training vehicles – safety and comfort are always our top priorities.
Moped and motorcycle training always begins at our city centre office (Väinönkatu 42) with changing into riding gear, after which you’ll head to the practice area with your instructor. Handling tests for two-wheelers are conducted at the Killeri parking area, and driving tests take place at Ajovarma’s office in Seppälänkangas (Kuormaajantie).
At our Palokka office, we also offer a wide range of courses for teaching permit holders, including mandatory EAS and RTK training. In addition, we provide several course packages such as the Practice Test Package, Starter Package, Co-Teaching Package, and Intensive Course.
