You can choose to take your driving lessons with either a manual or an automatic car.

CAP Driving School Kotka is located on Kotkansaari, on Kymenlaaksonkatu 28, right next to the vocational school. Driving lessons start either from the driving school or from a location of your choice – for example, Lyseo Upper Secondary School, Kotka Svenska, or Katariina Campus.

CAP Driving School Kotka provides driving instruction with both humour and professionalism and has been operating since 2015. A driving school has existed in the same location since 1994. Our professional and friendly instructors in Kotka support you throughout the entire process – from theory lessons to the driving test. Instruction is available in Finnish and English.

Driving lessons are held with modern, well-equipped training cars – safety and comfort are always our top priorities.

You can start your driving course immediately after registration. Theory lessons can be completed flexibly online whenever it suits you best. We use modern learning tools such as a driving simulator, the CAP App, and a digital learning environment, which support learning and help you develop safe, versatile driving skills.

Moped and motorcycle training takes place in the Kotka harbour area. All necessary equipment is available at the CAP Kotka office, where each session begins. Exams are held at Ajovarma’s office in Keltakallio, Kotka. The test day is usually separate from the lesson day. If you don’t have transportation, the driving school can arrange a ride to Keltakallio.

We offer a wide range of courses for teaching permit holders, including the mandatory EAS and RTK training. We also provide several supportive course packages for learners under a teaching permit – such as the Practice Test Package, Starter Package, Co-Teaching Package, and Intensive Course.

CAP Driving School offers flexible payment options. You can pay your course by invoice in 1–4 instalments, make an online payment, or use SVEA financing. This way, you can choose the payment method that best suits you – easily and flexibly.
