Can I get a moped and moped car licence at the same time?

Yes, you can.

If you do not have a previous driving licence, you must first take the EAS training. The training can be started 6 months before reaching the required age. The EAS theory lessons are one-off, so the theory lesson requirement for both licence categories is fulfilled in one go.

You can also take the theory tests at the same time if you want. You can take the theory test one (1) month before reaching the required age. You can also apply for a driving licence permit with one and the same application. The driving licence permit application is made through Ajovarma Oy.

To get a moped driving licence (AM120), you must also take a handling test (and driving lessons if necessary) and to get a moped car driving licence (AM121), also a driving test is required (and driving lessons if necessary). For both driving licence categories, you must be 15 years old before starting these driving lessons.

Not all of our offices have moped cars, so please make sure in advance that moped car driving lessons are available at the office you are planning to enroll.
