Getting a driving licence is a significant investment, and many people wonder when the right time is to sign up for driving school. Thanks to CAP-Autokoulu’s interest-free installment campaign, you can start working toward your driving licence now and pay for it later!

During the campaign, you get 6 months of interest-free payment time. You’ll receive a single invoice, due only six months after you sign up. You won’t pay any interest, only the handling fee.

How does paying in installments at driving school work?

1. Sign up for a course in September – Choose the car licence course you want and sign up between 4–27 September.
2. Choose SVEA installment payment – Select “Pay later / SVEA installment payment” as your payment method, with a payment period of 6 months.
3. Start studying right away – You get access to theory lessons and driving lessons as soon as you sign up.
4. Pay after 6 months – The invoice is due six months later. At that point you can pay the full amount at once or split it into further installments.

Handling fees

The interest rate is 0% for the full 6 months. You only pay a small handling fee*:

• Under €500 – opening fee €5, handling fee €0/month
• €500–999.99 – opening fee €0, handling fee €1.50/month
• €1,000–1,999.99 – opening fee €0, handling fee €3/month

Frequently asked questions about installment payment at driving school

Can I pay for my driving licence in installments? Yes. During the campaign period (4–27 September) you can choose SVEA installment payment, which gives you 6 months of payment time. After that, you can pay the full amount at once or split it into further installments.

Does the installment payment carry interest? No. During the campaign, the interest rate is 0% for the full 6 months. You only pay a small handling fee based on the size of your purchase.

Where do I find the SVEA payment option on the sign-up form? On the form, choose “Installment payment or 6 months payment time” as your payment method. On the next page, choose “Pay later / SVEA installment payment” and a payment period of 6 months.

Is the campaign valid at all locations? The campaign is valid at almost all CAP-Autokoulu locations. Check whether your location is included when you sign up.

What’s the latest I can sign up? The campaign ends on 27 September 2026. You must sign up during the campaign period.
