We offer driving lessons and courses for the following licence categories: passenger car (B), motorcycle (A1, A2, A), moped (AM120), and light quadricycle (AM121). We also provide services for teaching permit holders, such as EAS and RTK training. You can choose to drive either a manual or automatic car.
CAP Driving School Oulu City Centre is conveniently located next to Oulu Cathedral, at Isokatu 11. Driving lessons start from the school or from a location of your choice – for example, Kastelli Upper Secondary School, Oulun Suomalaisen Yhteiskoulun Lukio, Laanila Upper Secondary School, or Oulun Lyseon Lukio. Simulator lessons are held on-site at the Oulu City Centre office.

In Oulu, our instructors are approachable professionals who genuinely care about each student’s progress and success. A driving school has operated in the same premises since the 1990s. There’s no need to feel nervous about starting driving school – our experienced instructors will help and encourage you every step of the way.
You can start your driving course immediately after registration. Theory lessons can be completed flexibly online whenever it suits you best. We use modern teaching tools such as a driving simulator, the CAP App, and a digital learning environment that support your learning and help you develop safe and versatile driving skills.
Driving lessons are conducted with modern, well-equipped training vehicles. You can choose whether to complete your licence with an automatic or manual car. Instruction is available in Finnish and English.
Training for two-wheelers takes place at the Ruskotunturi practice area, which offers a safe environment for learning moped and motorcycle handling. The area is leased exclusively for the use of CAP Driving School Oulu branches. All handling and driving tests are conducted at Ajovarma’s Rusko office, located at Konetie 4, 90620 Oulu.
At the CAP Driving School Oulu City Centre office, we offer a wide range of courses for teaching permit holders, including mandatory EAS and RTK training. We also provide several course packages to support teaching permit learners – such as the Practice Test Package, Starter Package, Co-Teaching Package, and Intensive Course.
CAP Driving School offers flexible payment options. You can pay your course by invoice in 1–4 installments, make an online payment, or use SVEA financing. This way, you can choose the payment method that best suits you – easily and flexibly.
